Tucson in the distance ...

Tucson in the distance …

Tucson is a very interesting city.  We stayed for a few days with friends who lived at the edge of town at the foothills of the Santa Catalina mountain range.  We traveled north from Tucson and stayed in Flagstaff while we visited the Grand Canyon.  Before returning to Tucson, we traveled north east to check out all the cool flattop mountains from the days of the old western movies, and we stopped in 3 different unique canyons for a tour.  We love history and we wanted to learn how the native Americans survived.   We took a different highway back to Tucson and stayed in the international hostel located in the core.
